Cruiser cheerleaders excel

 The Groveport Madison Cruiser varsity cheerleaders have qualified for the state competition to be held at Dublin Jerome High School on March 2. Squad members are, from left to right: (front row) Jenna Sparks, Heather Knoplesch, Kathryn Kennedy, Caitlin Martin, Azia Mason; (second row) Jamie Gadrim, Courtney Fields, Jessica Lindsay, Kaitlyn Blaies, Madison Wright; (back row) Darelle Payne, Charniqua Dixon, Lanette Booker, Tonnisha English, Elizabeth Kennedy. The front row is made up of the five seniors on the squad, all of whom have cheered for Groveport Madison for six years.  Coaches are Danielle Rinkes (first year as varisty/JV coach) and assistant coach Kymberly Cooper-Linkhorn. In addition to going to the state competition, the squad finished second at the Ohio State competition, third at the Jonathan Alder competition, and third in their division of the Ohio Capital Conference.
