Cruiser basketball’s Red and Black Night (photos)

In addition to the annual alumni game, the event also featured a girls varsity and junior varsity scrimmage, a boys varsity and junior varsity scrimmage, a freshman scrimmage, cheerleader performances, the Cruiserettes, a three point shooting contest and more.

The Cruiser cheerleaders sang “Happy Birthday” to Cruiser head basketball coach Ryan Grashel, who shared a birthday with Red and Black Night.
Shawn Cleary, a Groveport city councilman and a 1978 graduate of Groveport Madison High School, was the oldest participant in the alumni game.

The boys varsity and junior varsity scrimmage turned into a dunk-fest as Javon Miller showed his dunking ability.
Following the alumni game, the players exchanged hugs with their old teammates and fellow Cruisers.
