According to Groveport Police Lt. Josh Short, a vehicle crash occurred on Aug. 16 at about 10:48 a.m. on State Route 317 at Groveport Road. An SUV was struck as it turned left into the path of a southbound vehicle and was knocked onto its side. The driver of the SUV, who was mechanically removed from the vehicle by the Madison Township Fire Department, was transported to the hospital in stable condition. Portions of State Route 317 and Groveport Road were shut down for about 45 minutes.
