| Despite sweltering temperatures in the mid 90s, Groveport Police Department’s Cops & Kids Day, held June 8 in Groveport Park, was a big success, drawing in participants from police and fire departments across central Ohio. Groveport Reserve Officer Danny Amabile (above) spent much of the day helping kids through "Safety Town," designed to teach children how to cross intersections and interact with traffic safely.
