The London Rotary Club is pleased to honor senior Connor Fulton as London High School’s April Student of the Month.

Students of the month are selected by school administrators based on their academic and extracurricular achievement and positive character.

Connor has a 4.528 grade point average and is ranked sixth in his class. His favorite class is “any math class.” He is a four-year member of the football team and received the following awards: Second Team All-Ohio, First Team All-Central District, Special Mention All-Central District, First Team All-CBC twice, and the Sportsmanship Award. Connor participated in basketball as a freshman, baseball as a freshman and sophomore, and track and field as a junior and senior. He also has been a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes for three years.

When asked to name a school staff person who has inspired him, Connor named high school math teacher Tim Spiess.

“Mr. Spiess is a great inspiration to me and to many of my peers. He drives countless hours every day to coach and teach students of London High School. Mr. Spiess’s selflessness is incredibly admirable and he should be used as an example of a dedicated teacher.”

About Connor, Spiess said, “Connor Fulton is a very personable young man who will succeed at whatever he attempts. He is goal-driven and has set a tremendous example for our students to emulate. He has led by example and has left a lasting impression on those he has touched. He has taken full advantage of the resources we have provided our students.”

Connor plans to attend The Ohio State University to study computer science. He is the son of Mark Fulton and Christy Roberts of London.

The London Rotary Club has a proud history dating back to 1929. It is a member of Rotary International, a volunteer organization of 1.2 million businesses and professional leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service and help build good will and peace.
