Walkers festively strode the sidewalks of downtown Canal Winchester costumed in their Christmas finery during the Reindeer Run on Dec. 7. A first-of-its-kind event for downtown Canal Winchester, participants stepped off from staggered starting points at four different restaurants including Barrel & Boar, Loose Rail, Roman’s Pizza and Shade on the Canal. People brought an unwrapped toy or book to donate to needy children in the community with proceeds from the event benefitting Canal Winchester Human Services.
