College signing day for 11 London High School athletes

London High School hosted a signing day ceremony on Feb. 7 to celebrate seniors who have committed to compete in athletics at the college level this fall.

In front of family members and peers, 11 students signed letters of commitment, the largest number of graduating senior athletes to do so in recent school history. As a whole, the group has amassed 67 varsity letters, 31 all-conference selections, 15 all-district selections, and four all-state selections. Collectively, they have a cumulative grade point average of 3.75.

• Layla Brohard will play golf at Ohio Northern University. She plans to major in electrical engineering. She is the daughter of Alex and Jodi Brohard.

• Riley Colestock will compete in track and cross country at The Citadel. She plans to major in exercise science on a pre-med track. She is the daughter of Ed and Praacnaa Colestock.

• Noah Fellure will play baseball at Otterbein University. He plans to major in business economics. He is the son of Marty and Melissa Fellure.

• Zach Jones will play football at Colgate University. He plans to major in business. He is the son of D.J. and Jen Jones.

• Luke Marriott will play soccer at John Carroll University. He plans to major in business management. He is the son of Scott and Kathleen Marriott.

• Cameron Patterson will play football at the University of Findlay. He is undecided on a major. He is the son of Bob and Dawn Patterson.

• Lauren Peters will compete in bowling at Ohio Northern University. She plans to major in medical laboratory science and minor in Spanish. She is the daughter of John and Heather Peters.

• Andrew Sims will play football at the University of Toledo. He plans to major in business and entrepreneurship. He is the son of Scott and Julia Sims.

• Zach Wall will play golf at Bluffton University. He plans to major in criminology. He is the grandson of Phil and Nancy Wall.

• Logan Weiner will play baseball at Clark State College. He plans to major in business. He is the son of Mike and Jamie Weiner.

• Cody Wheeler will play baseball at the University of Northwestern Ohio. He plans to major in sports management and business. He is the son of Chad and Jenny Wheeler.
