| Violet Township firefighter Greg Wells is off on the final leg of the 40 climb after getting the tag from fellow firefighter Brett Bowen. The two were half of the Violet Township relay team taking part in the Feb 23, Cystic Fibrosis Climb for a Cure. Approximately 120 firefighters from around central Ohio were on hand to take a shot at climbing the stairs to the top of the 40 floors of the Rhodes State Office Tower. Loaded with about 60-70 pounds of clothing and equipment the Violet Township team made the trip (in the off air category ) in 6:40 |
