As of Jan. 1, 2019, the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) began collecting municipal income tax for the city of Groveport for both current and prior tax years. In the past, residents who did not owe municipal income tax were not required to file. However, beginning with the 2018 filings, all city of Groveport residents and businesses are now required to file returns even if no municipal income tax is due.

On March 28, the city of Groveport will host a Taxpayer Assistance Day in the banquet room at the Links at Groveport, 1005 Richardson Road, from noon to 7 p.m. RITA representatives will be available for assistance in answering questions or filing returns.
