The city of Grove City and the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce are again partnering to host the third annual Grove City Job Fair on April 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, 3950 Brookham Dr., Grove City.
“We’ve heard from our chamber members and hiring qualified candidates continues to be a challenge,” said Shawn Conrad, executive director of the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce.
Businesses will be asked to pay a $25 participation fee with 100 percent of the proceeds benefitting the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. There is no charge to job fair participants. OhioMeansJobs will have experienced advisors available to discuss resumé-writing and employability tips.
“This is our third job fair and another great example of the city and chamber working together,” said Grove City Mayor Richard “Ike” Stage. “This is a great opportunity for our citizens to network with Grove City area businesses in a relaxed setting.”
