Celebrating National Night Out

Not even soggy grounds could stop the community from coming out to Burroughs Park for the 14th annual South Central Hilltop National Night Out Neighborhood Festival. For more than two hours, festival-goers partied with mascots, handcrafted sun hats, had fun with police, and ate lots and lots of free hotdogs. Here, Brett Burgett gets down with Crash, the mascot of the Columbus Clippers.
Toddy, an 18-year old civet, seeks the comfort of Doug Fox, an animal programs specialist with the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, when the curious crowd got to be a bit too much for the tired male.
