Celebrating heritage in South Charleston

The South Charleston Heritage Commission hosted its annual Heritage Days Festival Sept. 28-29.

Sue Mattinson, president of the South Charleston Heritage Commission which hosts the Heritage Days Festival, sits in front of the commission’s 1825 log cabin. She is holding a book about the 1929 Sprague Quilt that is on display inside the cabin. The quilt features the names of residents and businesses in South Charleston from 1929.
