The community came out to Westland High School on April 11 to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of world-cultures during the annual Cultural Diversity Festival. Among the event highlights were performances from students like Roksalana Antonyuk, a senior who sang a number from a popular Russian movie, and freshman Allison Chapin who performed an Irish dance.

After co-emceeing the performance portion, South-Western Career Academy student Savannah Phaiphanya went into the kitchen to make a new batch of eggrolls for the hungry families.
