Celebrating a fifth consecutive term

On Jan. 12, the village of Urbancrest hosted a celebration for newly-elected officials at the Quinichett Pavilion. Among the night’s notable guests were former director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau of the United States Richard Cordray, who also held office as Ohio Attorney General. Ed Leonard, (pictured here) first assistant prosecutor for the Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and former board of elections director, was also on hand to congratulate Urbancrest Mayor Joseph Barnes Sr. on his fifth consecutive term in office. Barnes is shown here during the ceremony with his wife, Elberta.
