Hollywood Casino Columbus will host a donation drive at its Georgesville Road location to support the team members, their families and the community of Dayton in the wake of severe weather earlier this week.
Dayton is home to Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway, which is the sister property to Hollywood Casino Columbus. Hollywood is urging guests to bring a new or gently used disaster relief item to the property, which will then be transported to Dayton on June 7. Any guest who brings an approved item could be eligible for $5 in free slot play.
Donations will be accepted through June 7 at the player services desk.
“It is our mission to always be a great corporate citizen and partner for the communities we serve. Our guests and team members in Dayton need our help right now,” said Jason Birney, vice president and general manager for Hollywood Casino Columbus. “Our company is committed to community and these types of drives help us not only live our values, but they also bring us all together in trying times.”
Suggested donation items include: new or gently used clothing, towels and blankets, sundries in travel sizes like shampoo, toothpaste and deodorant.
