A car caught fire in the Groveport Kroger parking lot on the morning of Dec. 16. According to Groveport Police Sgt. Josh Short, firefighters from Madison Township Fire Station 181 arrived on the scene and put out the fire. Short said no one was injured and this was a property damage only incident. Short said the fire is believed to have been the result of electrical issues in the vehicle.
