On April 7, West Jefferson village council accepted the site plan for construction of a warehouse for the fashion apparel retailer, Bon-Ton. The facility will be built on land southeast of the Kellogg’s distribution center on the east side of Enterprise Parkway.
The development started out as “Project Green” but changed focus when the business originally interested in the site opted to locate elsewhere. The actual name of that business was never officially released. Bon-Ton came in to fill the spot.
The Bon-Ton warehouse will employ up to 300 people. The site plan includes 371 parking spaces for employee vehicles and trucks used in the business.
