The city of Columbus and Community Workforce and Apprenticeship Committee hosted a Community and Building Trades Apprenticeship Job Fair in the Hilltop on Jan. 15 at the Glenwood Community Recreation Center. Tyler Frost (right), a senior in high school, attended the fair in hopes to find an apprenticeship in plumbing through the Building Futures program. “I used to do it (plumbing) with my dad, so I’m trying to get more into it. It’s a good skill to know, and there’s good money in it,” Frost said.
