Brown dogs have their day

Nearly three dozen dogs, along with a ferret and a snake, had their day at Groveport’s traditional "Brown Dog Day," held Aug. 18 in Degenhart Park. The event welcomes pets of any kind and includes contests such as best trick, pet/owner look alike, most unusual pet, best costume, most colorful, best treat catcher, and most energetic tail. Shaun Brennan’s dog, Seamus, won the best kisser event.
