Bomb threat at CW Schools

Canal Winchester High School received a bomb threat on Sept. 13 at 7 a.m. and the Canal Winchester Middle School received a bomb threat at 7:10 a.m. For the safety and security of students and staff district officials made the decision to close school.

According to district officials, the Columbus Bomb Squad along with the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Department have cleared the high school and middle school buildings. All buildings closed for the day Sept. 13 and therefore no remote learning occurred All after school activities will proceed as scheduled. The district will open Sept. 14 as normal.
