London High School students, Justin Long (left) and Jeremy Alder, help Madison County Master Gardener Jane Kutzley transplant petunia and geranium starts in the high school greenhouse. The London PTO supplied the 1,200 flower starts and the soil. London Florist donated the pots. Eight Master Gardeners coordinated the planting with help from students. Shortly before Mother’s Day, each London Elementary student will be given a flower to take home. Until that time, high school students will tend to the plants.
