Blast at Beulah to honor veterans

The city of Grove City will include a community salute to all Grove City area veterans, active members of the military, and their families during Blast at Beulah, the Independence celebration on July 4.

The salute is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Veterans and active military members who plan to attend should call 277-3015 by  June 30 to make reservations.

The Blast at Beulah is set for July 4 at Beulah Park, 3664 Grant Ave. The gates open at 5:30 p.m. There will be live entertainment from regional band, McGuffey Lane, as well as plenty of family activities. Many activities are planned for children by Grove City

Parks and Recreation and T.W.I.G. 184 beginning at 6 p.m. Fireworks start at approximately 10 p.m. and will be simulcast on radio station 95.5. The event is free, but there is a $5 fee to park in the Beulah Park lot.
