Groveport Madison’s first ever Black History Month Showcase will be held Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. in the Groveport Madison High School auditorium, 4475 S. Hamilton Road.

The showcase will highlight what it means to be Black in America through the eyes of high school students. Students will be performing various acts including a fashion show, well-known and original songs, original poems, and dances.

The event is free to the public and masks must be worn while in the building. Community members are encouraged to come beginning at 5:30 p.m. to buy dinner from various Black owned food vendors (Coco Mwassi, Destiny Treats and Designs, and Uptownflavors Food Truck) and then stay for the showcase beginning at 7 p.m.
