| Walking in a water wonderland
Just in time for the hottest days of summer, the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department has opened a new "sprayground" at Barnett Recreation Center, 1184 Barnett Road, with water buckets, jets, hoses and other aquatic toys within a 60-by-60 foot non-slip, zero-depth playground. The "sprayground" is open seven days a week, noon to 7 p.m., and admission is free. No lifeguards are needed, but staff members will supervise on weekdays. |
