Ballet Met Senior Tap Dancers to Perform at JCC

Ballet Met’s Senior Tap Dancers will perform at the JCC of Greater Columbus at 11 a.m. Aug. 27. The dancers will perform their "Music and Rhythm Variety Show" in the center’s Roth-Resler theater as part of the August birthday celebration for members of the New Horizons 60+ group. Rehearsing their routine, left to right, are: Jim Luellen, Judy Liepack, Helen Phillips, Bob Olfenbuttel and Wallis Harsch. (Not pictured is Leslie Brady.) In addition to tap dancing, the group also will perform ballet and ballroom dancing. Lunch, for guests 60 and older, will be served after the performance by the JCC and Lifecare Alliance. Reservations for lunch are required a day in advance by calling 231-2731. The performance is free and open to the public.
