During the OH-05 Zone Lion Convention on March 15-16 at Deer Creek State Park, three members of the London Lions Club were recognized for their service to the community and the Lions organization.

Michael Norman (left), first vice president, was named Zone OH-05 Lion of the Year. Gary Likens (center), London club president and newly elected second vice district governor, received the Zone 5 Council of Governors Award of Merit and the District Governor Award of Appreciation. Greg Eades (right) received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award for his lifetime of acts of service dedicated to humanitarian services.

The International Lions Club was founded in 1917 and has five pillars for service and educational outreach: vision, childhood diabetes, childhood cancer, hunger, and the environment.
