Renewal applications can be handled entirely through the mail. Renewal applications were mailed in November to last year’s license holders. Dog owners will receive tags by return mail by verifying renewal information and returning the form, payment, and a self-addressed stamped envelope.
A current dog tag is the easiest method of keeping owners and their pets together, Hunter said.
