Art on the Canal

Pickerington chalk artist Sheryl Lazenby used a walkway in Stradley Place as the canvas for her colorful, yet temporary, artwork during the Canal Winchester Art Stroll held on May 18 in historic downtown Canal Winchester.
Local artist Ann Alexander readies her display for Canal Winchester’s annual Art Stroll held on a warm and sunny May 18 afternoon in and around Stradley Place.
First time Art Stroll artist Merrie Linn Fisher, center, shares one of her farm animal paintings with Zev Spence, right, a member of the cast of Wagnalls Memorial’s Charlotte’s Web production and a student at Canal Winchester Middle School. Zev, who portrayed “Uncle,” and other cast members performed selections from the play in costume during the May 18 event.
Canal Winchester resident and former Studio 7.5 painter Christine Jones, along with other artists working in various mediums, displayed their pieces on the sidewalks and street in and around Stradley Place.
