The village of Canal Winchester will mail a survey to households within its corporation limits in early November to learn what residents think about life in general in Canal Winchester, community services and future initiatives. Residents are asked to return the postage-paid survey by Nov. 19.
Sixty-four questions will seek input on area parks, community facilities, police protection, public utilities, development and a number of other areas, including how satisfied residents have been with their interactions with village staff. Residents will also be asked to share where they work, dine and shop.
Once survey responses have been received, results will be tabulated and analyzed and recommendations will be made for future planning. This review will be done by a third-party consultant to ensure results remain unbiased. The results are expected to be available to the public in early 2009.
