The cafeteria at Buckeye Woods Elementary School was transformed into a Science Spot Tuesday night when COSI rolled into town. For more than an hour on Nov. 19, students and adults participated in several brain-boosting stations that tested their mental acumen, problem solving skills and balance. Here, first grader Alana Morehart celebrates with COSI educator Jessica Takos as she completes the block pyramid challenge. The event, which coincided with a book fair, was hosted by the school’s Parent Teacher Association.
Carson Abram, 6, concentrates on the balancing rod. He spent most of his time at the COSI event trying to master this station.
