The team finished with an overall record of 13-11 and 10-5 in the Ohio Capital Conference Capital Division. “We are extremely proud of the baseball team’s performance this year,” said Groveport Madison Athletic Director Steve Petros. “The team exceeded expectations under our new, first year head coach Chris McKee. This season was a credit to the time and effort put during the off season in the weight room and then on the field. We got took sole possession of second place in the league. We beat every team in our division. We upset the number one team in the state and came within a couple outs of upsetting them in the tournament. It was definitely year to be proud of!”
