$5,000 reward for leads on property damage

(Posted July 29, 2020)

A $5,000 award is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and persecution of the person or persons involved in damaging property at several residences southeast of London.

“An anonymous resident who is really upset about the damage is putting up the reward. They would like to see the culprits caught,” said Madison County Sheriff John Swaney.

Mailboxes, farm fields, and road signs were damaged in the early morning hours of July 26 in the area of Big Plain Circleville Road, Glade Run Road, Jones Marsh Road and Hume Lever Road.

“We are actively investigating this,” Swaney said.

Anyone with information can call the Sheriff’s Office at (740) 852-1332.
