This year’s Community Expo features food, entertainment and over 40 vendors representing Madison County area businesses and organizations.

Hosted by the Madison County Chamber of Commerce, the expo is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 26 at London Elementary, 380 Elm St. Admission is free.

Vendors will provide attendees with information about their services and pro-ducts by way of company representatives, displays and, in some cases, demonstrations and prize giveaways.

My Moment Concessions, owned by Butch Scott of London, will operate a food truck on site. Der Dutchman of Plain City is once again providing breakfast for vendors and free samples for visitors.

Entertainment includes games and activities for children. London Gymnastics & Cheer will put on demonstrations and invite visiting children to give tumbling a try. The Red Cross will perform puppet shows with messages about disaster and emergency preparedness and response. A bounce house is also part of the Kid Zone, along with other activities.

Children and adults alike are invited to learn more about bicycle safety and the London area bike path at the Friends of Madison County Parks & Trails display. The Master Gardeners will help visitors make pots out of paper and plant seeds in them to take home.

The London Lions Club will be among the organizations with vendor booths. The group will hold its third annual silent auction at the Expo.

Another feature is the vendor basket raffle. Tickets will be sold at the door the day of the event. The winner will receive a basket full of prizes donated by exhibitors.
