Three Columbus Messenger editors won awards at the Mid-Atlantic Community Papers Association Conference held in April.

Southwest Editor Andrea Cordle won for “Best Blog” for her online “Wiener Dog Blog.”

Eastside Editor Christine Bryant-Whaley won first place for her feature story, “Titanic exhibit leaves lasting impressions.”

Westside Editor Whitney Coy took second place for her feature story “Camp Chase soldier returns to his post.”

“The Messenger strives for journalistic excellence and I am proud of these talented editors,” said Columbus Messenger Publisher Phil Daubel.
