Business break-ins on Westside
(Posted Feb. 23, 2011) Burglars are busting through storefront windows on the Westside. According to Columbus Police, during the last few weeks, 14 business burglaries have occurred on Sullivant Avenue and West Broad Street where the suspects gain entry by smashing a front window or door. Once inside the business they steal money from the cash registers. The break-ins are occurring overnight when businesses are closed. The Columbus Police are asking citizens for help. If you see a broken out window on a business or a suspicious person around a business after hours, please call the police so a cruiser can respond and check things out.
