POP Arts is again offering Guitar Lessons at the Arts Center, 895 Old Diley Road, just off Windmiller Drive, in Pickerington.
Classes are $30 per 40 minutes and will begin this month. Beginners and experienced guitarists are welcome. Contact instructor Gary Bowen at GLBOWENCPA@yahoo.com with questions or to register.
Church of the Redeemer United Methodist will have a Grief Recovery Seminar beginning in late January. The seminar costs $25, will be a 10-week program, and will be led by certified grief recovery specialist Rev. Sue Ellen Miller at the church, 235 McNaughten Road, Columbus. Financial literacy workshops
Want to protect both yourself and your assets? New Directions Career Center, a non-profit organization serving central Ohio for 30 years, invites the public to attend two upcoming workshops.
From 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 26, hear how to guard yourself against “Identity Theft” and learn more about the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).
A second workshop entitled, “Make the Most of Your Paycheck,” will be offered from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 23. Community experts will present critical information and answer your questions.
