Girl Scout volunteers needed

Can you speak a foreign language? Create your own Web design? Do you like to take field trips and have fun hanging out with girls?

Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland needs your talent! The organization's mission is to build girls of courage, confidence and character.

The group is looking for members who believe in girls and volunteers who represent the diversity of the world we live in - women, men, young adults, senior citizens, college students, people of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, and of course our treasured alumnae.

Never been a Girl Scout? Don't worry-it's not a pre-requisite. Girl Scouts come in all age groups - all you need is a desire to make a difference in the lives of girls.  Adults 18 years of age or older can join Girl Scouts to serve as a mentor, speaker, troop leader, chaperone or camping volunteer.

Whatever your skills, talents or interests, Girl Scouts can match you to a rewarding volunteer experience.  The group's safe, girl-friendly environment promotes a positive learning opportunity for both the girls and adult volunteers.
