Reynoldsburg treasurer resigns

Reynoldsburg Schools treasurer Mitchell G. Biederman has announced he will resign effective June 18 to take a position with Centerville City School District.

In a news release, Biederman said he will begin his new treasurer position with Centerville Schools July 1. His resignation letter with Reynoldsburg Schools will be included on the May 19 school board agenda.

Biederman said his wife, Lisa, grew up in Southwest Ohio and he worked for the Greene County ESC for 10 years prior to becoming the treasurer of Reynoldsburg.

"This is a wonderful professional opportunity for me, my wife and three children," he said in the news release. "I have made many friends that I will miss seeing on a regular basis and I will always hold Reynoldsburg in a special place in my heart."
