Bexley Education Foundation accepting nominations for the 2009 E

Educators, students, parents and community members are invited to nominate a Bexley educator whose commitment to the classroom and the community has made a difference in children's lives.

Sponsored annually by the Bexley Education Foundation (BEF), this award is funded by the Robert A. Glick Endowment Fund of the Columbus Jewish Foundation. At the annual Education Appreciation Banquet held each spring, the recipient is recognized for qualities of leadership, dedication and extraordinary achievement and is awarded a cash gift.

Past recipients of the Bexley Educator of the Year Award include Rose Blanchard, Sonja Hutchison, Molly McCarrick, Terry Black, Eric Acton, Carole Ennis, Scott Logsdon, Ken Stewart, Donna Taylor, Karen Haylor, Jim Tatman, Jeff Schneider and Marge Galloway.
Nominations are due in the Bexley Education Foundation office in the Cassingham complex by April 8.
