2009 BRAVO! event to celebrate 'Our Giving Community'

The Bexley Education Foundation will hold its annual BRAVO! event from 7 to 11 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Grand Valley Dale Ballroom, 1590 Sunbury Road.

The theme for the event will be "join with your neighbors to celebrate our giving community."

BRAVO!, a casual evening of fun, food and friendship, will feature tasty offerings from more than 20 local restaurants and eateries, a silent auction, including items created by Bexley students, and a raffle.

Funds raised at BRAVO! go to support grants for classroom and district-wide programs that benefit students in the Bexley schools.

BRAVO! Co-chairs Anna Luehmann and Kerrie Ryan have recruited a dedicated and energetic team of volunteers to organize this year's event (pictured).

Tickets for the BRAVO! event are $50 in advance, $60 at the door and $75 for a patron donation. A portion of the ticket cost is tax-deductible.
