|Walking on Bexley's Parkview Avenue, a dirt road at the time, was challenging. As seen in this photo from the early 1900s, ladies tried to stay on the boardwalk to keep their dresses out of the dirt and mud. Parkview Avenue is now alive and thriving. North Parkview (north of Broad Street) has homes and among them are the Governor's Mansion and Jeffrey Mansion. South Parkview, which goes south of Broad Street to Main Street, is all residential except for Parkview and Main (on the northeast corner) where Mozart's, Jeni's and the Rusty Bucket are located.
