The city of Groveport and Groveport Madison Schools participated in the annual Make A Difference Day on Oct. 27. Through October, the city, school district and several area businesses collected personal care and household items for distribution to two Franklin County homeless family shelters. More than 50 volunteers at Groveport Madison Middle School South sorted, packed and loaded the items on a truck for delivery to the Homeless Family Foundation and the YWCA Family Shelter. Items are distributed to families transitioning to their own homes.
