The Madison-Plains High School marching band competed in Class B at Thomas Worthington High School’s “Preview of Champions” Oct. 6. Based on school size, Madison-Plains traditionally competes in Class C, but their efforts to continually improve and grow propelled them to compete with larger programs.

The band earned an overall “superior” rating, marking the second consecutive year for the band has qualified for the OMEA State Marching Band Finals. The finals will take place the first weekend in November at Brunswick High School.
