Reynoldsburg releases clean-up schedule


The city of Reynoldsburg has released its “Community Clean-Up” schedule for June 1-10.
 
New this year is a pre-cycle day in which residents may leave no longer needed items at the curb in front of their homes.

May 30-31
Pre-cycle day - 6 p.m. May 30 to 8 p.m. May 31
Participate in a city-wide free exchange of reusable, no longer needed items at the curb in front of your home. Leave unwanted items on the curb for trash pick-up the next day. Residential only.

June 1
Reynoldsburg’s 20-minute makeover - 10 a.m.
Clean outside businesses, schools and other areas of the community for 20 minutes.
 
Bulk Item Disposal - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Runs through June 10 at city all and Reynoldsburg Street Department, 7806 E. Main St. Times extended June 1 and June 4-8 to 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Residential document shredding - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Bring a limit of five boxes to city hall. Shredding provided by CINTAS.

Red recycling bin exchange - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Bring in your old, broken red recycling bins to receive a replacement.

Electronics disposal - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Provided by Ohio Drop-Off; bring electronics to city hall to be recycled.

Provided by Batteries Plus; drop off automotive and rechargeable batteries at no charge at city hall.

Habitat for Humanity drop-off - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Donate new and used home goods and building materials.

Flag drop-off - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Boy Scout Troop 277 will collect old, damged flags at city hall and then properly dispose of them.

Provided by Lowes, drop off old appliances at city hall.

Reynoldsburg Fix Up Assistance Project - This project is available for disabled and senior residents who are unable to obtain assistance from family, friends and other sources. Assistance request forms are available at city hall and the Reynoldsburg Senior center. Deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. May 18.

Free Garage Sale Week - June 1-10
Garage sales are allowed each day of clean-up week. A fee and permit are waived and the sale does not count toward residents’ limits for the year. All other rules remain in effect.
