The Hilltop Historical Society and Civil Air Patrol participated in Wreaths Around America on at Camp Chase Confederate Cemetery on Dec. 10. This ceremony is simultaneously held at more than 600 sites throughout the U.S.

Monty Chase, a descendant of the cemetery’s namesake, lays out a service wreath.

Around twenty-five volunteers help lay 52 wreaths at Camp Chase Confederate Cemetery. This was an increase from 17 wreaths last year, due to more individuals sponsoring the wreaths.
