No. 1 ranked Ohio State, led by Head Coach Jim Tressel (above), continued its undefeated 2007 season with a 24-17 win over the Michigan State Spartans on Oct. 20. During a post-game conference, Tressel said the team played a “very, very solid first half,” but called a pair of second-half turnovers “offensively unfortunate.” The Buckeyes face off against Penn State at 8 p.m. Oct. 27.

Ohio State University sophomore wide receiver Brian Hartline was credited with a total gain of 41 yards in four carries during the Buckeyes’ Oct. 20 game against Michigan State. Despite a late comeback by the Spartans on a fumble recovery and an interception, Ohio State took the victory, 24-17.
