Pets of the Week

Ace is a mixed breed estimated to be between 6 and 8 years old. He is described as an adorable love bug. No one is a stranger to Ace. He is stressed out in his cage, but once out of it, he is said to be the calmest, most loveable dog you’ll ever meet. Adopt Ace from the Franklin County Dog Shelter.

Gracie was returned because she didn’t adapt well to apartment life. She is an active 8-year-old red sable (about 26 pounds) that loves to play tug, wrestle around and would love to have a fenced yard to run around in. Gracie is loving, affectionate and very smart. She gets along with other dogs and even cats. She would prefer a home without children. Gracie would do well in an active senior’s home and she is eligible for the Seniors for Seniors program. Adopt her from Central Ohio Sheltie Rescue.

Libby is a wonderful little girl. She is good with dogs of all sizes, cats, kids and people. She is house trained, good on a leash and in the car, fine when left home alone (non destructive) and doesn’t need to be crated. She’s not a barker, stays off furniture and has good manners as well. She is very sweet and loving but also very shy and scared right now because she hasn’t been exposed to most everyday things such as crowds, bikes, trucks, etc. She is being socialized and worked with, but any potential adopter must know she is a work in progress and has a timid personality right now, but that she is well worth the time and effort. Adopt her from Perfect Pet Adoption Center.

Butter is a very cute little petite girl with a long racing career. Butter is a little "Diva" girl. She recently retired from Florida and is finally looking for a much deserved home of her own. Butter is 5 years old and is not small animal friendly. Adopt her from Central Ohio Greyhound Rescue.

Florian is a domestic long-haired gray cat who is housetrained and looking for a new home. He is super friendly and loves to be groomed. Adopt him from Friends for Life Animal Haven.
