Making a splash on Thursdays

Summer has arrived, and the Big Splash staff is ready to help Grove City cool off.

Every Thursday this season, the staff at the Big Splash will provide events and activities to go along with the theme on Thursday afternoons.

Each season, the Big Splash strives to provide guests with the best possible experience. Theme Thursdays are another way to keep attendees active. Activities, games, crafts, special guests and many other surprises are offered for all ages.

Kick off the 2012 Theme Thursday series on June 7 celebrating a Big Splash Fiesta; on June 14 take photos with Sparky the Fire Dog as part of Firefighter Appreciation Day. On June 21 get a child I.D. and meet the Grove City Police D.A.R.E. officers. Ahoy Mateys, theres going to be a pirate take over on June 28 at the Big Splash.

Attendees will also have the chance to meet with the mascot,Splasher the Whale, at various Themed Thursday events, and community events throughout the summer.
