Recently, two area baseball players signed letters of intent to play baseball at the college level.
On Nov. 15, London High School senior Zac Carey signed a national letter of intent to play baseball for Bowling Green State University. With him on signing day were his parents, Melissa and Jeff Carey, and his sister, Allisyn. Carey plays pitcher and second base for the Red Raiders.
On Nov. 13, West Jefferson High School senior Caleb Ferguson signed his national letter of intent to play baseball for West Virginia University. He is a pitcher for the Roughriders. His parents, Melissa and Pat Ferguson, accompanied him at the signing.
