The Grove City Parks and Recreation Department will hold registration for fall youth baseball during the month of June.
Interested participants may sign up at City Hall, 4035 Broadway, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., June 1 through June 29. The office will be open until 7 p.m. on June 26. Registrations accepted after June 29 will be assessed a $20 late fee.
Children between the ages of 5 and 17 who live in Grove City or Jackson Township are eligible to participate. Participants who reside outside the city/township corporate limits are eligible to play, but are required to pay an additional $10 non-resident fee.
League assignments are based on age as of Aug. 1, 2012. First-time registrants must bring the participants birth certificate, proof of Grove City residency and payment.
Practices begin Aug. 6 and opening day for the 10-game season is Aug. 25. Games are held at Windsor Park, 4330 Dudley Ave.
Volunteer coaches are needed. Applications may be picked up at City Hall. Paid umpire positions and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
